The US Green Building Council has released a draft for the next version of LEED, referred to informally as LEED 2012 due to its scheduled release in November 2012.  The comment period is open now and will close on December 31, 2010, so if any of you want a say in the development of the program this is a great opportunity.   There will also be a second comment period in mid-2011.  Download the rating system draft and/or review the excellent synopsis of changes on the Environmental Building News website.
